Since 1927, the Lincoln County Humane Society has been protecting and caring for animals across the Niagara Peninsula. Over the past 96 years, they have saved countless animals and have been an essential part of the Niagara community. Now, in their 97th year, they have changed their name and are now known as the Humane Society of Greater Niagara. This new name reflects their increased service to both residents and animals across Niagara.
Of course, a new name calls for a rebrand & new website; that is exactly where we step in! Symetric worked with the Humane Society of Greater Niagara to bring their new brand and website to life. Starting with the new logo and branding, our graphics team used specific colours and imagery to convey the feeling of comfort and care. It was important during this process that the historic reputation of the Lincoln County Humane Society was not lost, therefore, communicating the level of care and compassion that the Humane Society offers, was at the forefront of this project. The website design was streamlined to provide a modernized, clean, but friendly look. The website was built to be functional, user-friendly, and engaging. Features like the step-by-step instructions on how to adopt & how to volunteer, and simplified guides to donating makes the site a great source of information for visitors and creates a positive user experience.
