In fact, the home design sector in St. Catharines is so expansive that the Design District was born. The Design District is an area in St. Catharines that is made up of more than 200 businesses that specialize in a variety of home design elements. If you’re wanting to transform your home, look no further than the Design District. Whether it’s landscaping, construction, heating and air, or furnishings and appliances, you’ll find exactly what you need (and more) from local businesses.
To launch the Design District, we worked with the City of St. Catharines to design a new website that would bring this project to life. To optimize search engine rankings and loading times for this site, we used data driven pages to develop it. Another important element of the website was the business directory. This directory can be filtered by industry so that visitors can search for exactly what they need, this feature helps to create a positive, simple user experience. Overall, the vision for the Design District was to create a site that captures the design hub in a way that is simple and easy to navigate. Visitors can come to the site and find all the information they would need to complete any of their home projects!
